Thursday, Jan. 5

12:01 a.m. - Double digit block of East Northwood Avenue, vehicle damaged.

12:01 a.m. - 100 block of East 11th Avenue, items removed from vehicle, vehicle damaged.

12:01 a.m. - 400 block East Northwood Avenue, vehicle damaged.

1 a.m. - 100 block of Chittenden Avenue, vehicle damaged and item removed.

1:05 a.m. - 100 block of East 11th Avenue, truck window smashed out and property taken.

2:25 a.m. - 1300 block of North Sixth Avenue, right rear window of vehicle smashed, nothing of value missing from vehicle.

3 a.m. - Double digit block of West Blake Avenue, CDs stolen from Jeep.

7:22 a.m. - 2600 block of North High Street, suspect pulled up in a dark-colored pickup truck, exited his vehicle and smashed the passenger window of a Dodge Neon before taking property.

8 a.m. - 1400 block of Hamlet Street, reporting person stated that he had approximately 84 percocet pain pills taken from his bedroom.

12 p.m. - 1300 block of North Fourth Street, suspect entered through unlocked door and stole property.

1 p.m. - 400 block of East 19th Avenue, principal called police to respond for three students who beat-up two other students.

5 p.m. - 1400 block of Indianola Avenue, window smashed out of car, no items taken.

7 p.m. - Double digit block of East Seventh Avenue, rear driver side window of vehicle smashed, property removed.

8 p.m. - 200 block of East 19th Avenue, items stolen from vehicle.

9 p.m. - 300 block of East 11th Avenue, vehicle theft.

9:05 p.m. - 200 block of East 15th Avenue, victim realized that she had lost a small leather case containing her credit card and iPod. Victim returned to a parking lot, were she had apparently dropped the case. She found the case, but the credit card and iPod were gone.

10:15 p.m. - 1900 block of Iuka Avenue, drivers side window of vehicle smashed, CD player taken.

10:30 p.m. - 300 block of East Eighth Avenue, people entered residence through basement window, took property and exited through the back door.

11:30 p.m. - 1400 block of North Fifth Street, property was stolen from an apartment.

Friday, Jan. 6

10 a.m. - Double digit block of West Ninth Avenue, items stolen from a vehicle.

12 p.m. - Double digit block of East Woodruff Avenue, victim stated that when realty team left her apartment after working on her bathroom, items were missing.

2 p.m. - 2600 block of North High Street, victim reported that, while sitting in his truck, suspect reached into the back of his truck and took property. The victim said he jumped out of his truck and detained the suspect until the police arrived. The victim was referred to the prosecutor's office for criminal charges.

2 p.m. - 1300 block of North Fourth Street, victim reported that she was on the second floor of her residence when she heard a crash. She grabbed her gun, and as she came down her steps she saw the suspect standing by the front door of her living room. The suspect had broken a front window and climbed into her house. He said he was from the Humane Society, and he was there to pick up her cats. The victim told the suspect that he was lying, to which the suspect replied "Jerry Fetter sent me." When the victim went upstairs to call the police, the suspect exited out the front door and fled on foot.

2:45 p.m. - 1980 N. High St., Penn Station East Coast Sub. Complainant #1 stated that she paid for her meal but did not want the food, and that complainant #2 refused to give her money back, which totaled $11.21. Complainant #2 stated that this is the fourth time that complainant #1 has came into the store and demanded her money back. Officer referred both parties to the prosecutor's office.

8 p.m. - 1400 block of Summit Street, attempted burglary.

11 p.m. - 400 block of East Tompkins Street, items removed from vehicle and vehicle damaged.

Saturday, Jan. 7

1:50 a.m. - Intersection of East Lane Avenue and North High Street, victim was stopped at intersection when his car was surrounded by a group of males and he was repeatedly hit in the face and head. He blacked out in a nearby parking lot until 6 a.m., and was taken to Riverside Hospital by his girlfriend that morning, where he was listed in serious condition.

2 a.m. - Near intersection of 13th Avenue and North High Street, motor vehicle theft.

2:40 a.m. - Double digit block of Chittenden Avenue, damage to property.

4:30 a.m. - 300 block of East 12th Avenue, unknown persons entered victims residence and took property.

5:15 a.m. - Double digit block of Chittenden Avenue, two victims were stabbed by an unknown man who had approached a party to ask for money. After giving the man money, they invited the suspect to the party. After staying for a while, he pulled a knife and demanded more money before stabbing the victims. Both victims were very intoxicated.

8:30 a.m. - 1500 block of Summit Street, suspect entered the store, and while clerk was distracted, suspect took property from the counter.

9 a.m. - Double digit block of West Lane Avenue, a vehicle was damaged.

9 a.m. - 1900 block of North 4th Street, item stolen from purse inside unlocked car.

9 a.m. - 2600 block of North High Street, a vehicle was damaged and property was taken.

10:30 a.m. - Double digit block of East Norwich Avenue, CD player was stolen from car.

2:20 p.m. - 1300 block of North 4th Street, victim stated that the suspect became upset when he told her to leave. She threw a coffee pot through the front window of his apartment and bit him on the left forearm, breaking the skin.
