Crime Briefs: Vandals graffiti OSU frat house

Fraternity brothers of Sigma Chi reported to police that someone spraypainted graffiti on the stone wall surrounding their house on East 15th Avenue and on an electrical box. The graffiti read "Jaybo" and "I tan 4 life," according to the police report.

Unwavering gate rammed by angry driver An employee at the South Campus Gateway parking garage reported to police that a man driving an Audi TT rammed an exit gate when it wouldn't open for him shortly after midnight Monday. A parking attendant saw the man drive into the gate, causing significant damage to it, and when the gate still wouldn't open the man drove to the attendant's booth and paid with his credit card to exit. Management reviewed security footage and say it clearly shows the man try to use a card to exit at the gate, then back his car up and ram it. Police are investigating the damaging.

Burglar steals 'Battlestar Galactica' A 33-year-old man reported to police that his Indiana Avenue home was burglarized between Monday morning and afternoon. The burglar stole his 48-inch television, PlayStation 3 and "Battlestar Galactica" DVD.
