Police investigate rape in Kinnear Commons

A female reported she had been raped early Monday morning in her Commons on Kinnear apartment.

The 22-year-old said she was in the presence of a Hispanic male, black male and black female before she woke up and felt as though she had been raped, according to campus police reports.

The incident occurred between 2:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. May 12.

"I know it's being investigated by authorities, but that's all I know," said Charles Byard, Commons on Kinnear marketing manager.

The Columbus Division of Police is investigating the report.
