The Ohio State athletics department is set to host a public event in celebration of the football team’s victory over Oregon in the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship.

The event, which is set to be held on Jan. 24 from 11 a.m. until noon at Ohio Stadium, is free and open to the public, a Wednesday press release from the OSU Department of Athletics said.

At the event, OSU coaches, student-athletes and staff are scheduled to be recognized for winning the football program’s eighth national championship, and more event information is set to be made available at a later date, the release said.

A similar ceremony was held days after the Buckeyes won their last national title after the 2002-03 season.

OSU won the first-ever College Football Playoff National Championship against Oregon, 42-20, on Monday night in Arlington, Texas.
