A campus-area United Dairy Farmers was robbed Thursday morning.

The UDF located at 2094 N. High Street on the corner of Frambes Avenue and High Street was robbed around 5:25 a.m. on Thursday, according to a Columbus Division of Police media release.

The suspect is a black man in his 20s, 6-foot-2 and between 150 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a red Ohio State sweatshirt and khaki pants, the release said.

The suspect appeared to enter the store as a customer and approached the counter like he was going to purchase an item, but then displayed a semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash from the register, the release said. After the clerk gave him the money, the suspect fled the scene.

The same UDF was robbed earlier this year in February.

Columbus police requested that anyone with information contact their Robbery Unit.
