A robbery occurred in a parking garage on Ohio State’s campus early Thursday morning.

At approximately 12:25 a.m., two suspects robbed an office in the 9th Avenue East parking garage before fleeing into neighborhoods south of campus, according to an OSU Emergency Management public safety notice sent out to the OSU community on Thursday.

The garage is located at 345 W. 9th Ave. and is one of the garages at OSU’s Wexner Medical Center.

The suspects forced their way into the office after knocking on the door and then took money from a parking employee, the safety notice stated.

The other suspect is described as a black male between 5-foot-9 and 6 feet who was wearing all black with a black hat. Both suspects had their shirts pulled up to partially conceal their faces, but no weapons were seen or implied, according to the safety notice.
