A man unaffiliated with Ohio State, Lonnie B. Sturdivant, was arrested Wednesday night for criminal trespass, sexual imposition and burglary.

Dan Hedman, spokesman for Ohio State’s Office of Administration and Planning, said in an email that Sturdivant’s charges are related to two Public Safety Notices issued this week, which were issued regarding two female students who were reportedly fondled by an unknown man, in separate instances.

He was arrested near campus on North High Street, after the Columbus Division of Police observed Sturdivant leaving an Ohio Union parking garage around 11:18 p.m.

“(University Police) and (the Columbus Division of Police) worked closely during the search and take the safety of the campus community very seriously,” Hedman said.
