Campus area crime map January 10 – 16

A female student was reportedly robbed while standing outside of Dreese Laboratories on Thursday at about 8:40 p.m., according to a Public Safety Notice sent by email. The suspect was described as a 5-foot-11, college-aged Asian man with black hair. Anyone with details on the suspect is encouraged to contact University Police at 614-292-2121.

A burglary reportedly occurred on East 7th Avenue near North Pearl Street on Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. According to the Columbus Division of Police crime log, the suspect stole various electronics — including a television and a gaming system — valued at an estimated $1,030.

A woman not affiliated with the university was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired at the Neil Avenue Parking Garage on Saturday at 1:37 a.m.

A male student was arrested for “prohibited acts” and cited for resisting arrest at Siebert Hall on Wednesday at 2:44 a.m.
