Three years ago Ohio State alumnus Brian Pitzer began working on a secret business plan to create a marketable brand of caffeinated water. He hoped to appeal to a unique crowd: classy, smart, trend-setting people that are worried about their health. Crime Briefs: Police get false alarm about shooting

Police reveived a tip that someone had been shot in a Clinton Avenue home Tuesday, but when they arrived they found no one but the home’s resident, who was surprised by their visit. An Ohio State student was transported to the OSU Hospital emergency room Tuesday afternoon after he was struck by a bus near Woodruff and College avenues.
