Ohio State University president, Dr. Gordon Gee, and the director of the Ohio Union, Tracy Stuck, met at the RPAC Friday morning to settle the dispute on the future home of the Alice Schille painting from 1911, "Children at the Beach."
In the best of three rounds of arm wrestling, Gee won the first, Stuck the second and a draw in the third. Gee commended his competitor and decided to put the painting in the new Ohio Union, which opens on March 29, 2010.

It's so great to see President Gee back at OSU! Go Bucks!

Petaluma East...what a hoot! We get comments from Ducks and Beaver fans out here (Oregon) about the "The" in front of OSU's name. I believe that is another great "Geeism." It is a fun and creative way to remember my alma mater. Being tops nationally in sports and academics...sometimes together...doesn't hurt, either. Go Bucks!!

Not sure why Gee is getting the credit for this--This union was set to happen without him. He has the best PR people in the world!

I am jealous and grateful at the same time. I went to school from '96 to '01, which I feel was a low point in our proud history. Thank goodness Gee has returned.

Our University is blessed with a President who is serious, goofy, and seriously goofy, all in good measure and all at the appropriate moment. So glad he came back to us ^^
