While DeWine’s office is heading the case, the U.S. Justice Department is going to involve itself in the matter, according to WTOV9, an NBC affiliate covering the Ohio Valley.
According to The New York Times, Richmond and Mays are under house arrest and awaiting a trial that has been set for Feb. 13.

What about the court documented wife abuser Charlie Wilson who lost his latest attempt to represent Appalachia OH-6, including Steubenville (2012 elections)? Google: "Charlie Wilson wife abuse" for court documented abuse details, wife went to local Appalachia Ohio ER, admitted physical injuries resultant from Charlie, Charlie faced no charges?! Morally unconscionable, penultimate women's libber elderly (70s) Nancy Pelosi gave $8-10K to wife abuser Charlie for his 2012 USHouse campaign, and dccc.org (democratic campaign committee headed by Steve Isreal, D, NY) gave wife abuser Charlie $1M! for his failed 2012 race. The lack of education/ethics of both Charlie and the corrupt Appalachia Steubenville rape are morally unconscionable as apparently are all Ohioans, including OSU. Appalachia Ohio, including Steubenville, deserves to be dying, dilapidated and impoverished....

OSU did not expel Nodianos. After the threats received, he dropped out of school on his own accord. According to the USA Today article, in fact, OSU still maintains his athletic scholarship. This school does do a great deal for sexual violence survivors, but it handles its publicity terribly. This should be a time for change, and all OSU does is distance itself from the incident.

As an Alum, I feel the University Did INDEED do the Correct Thing in expelling the individual "IF" in fact they Did . Living in such a Politically Correct' little World that NOW exists because So many People get sooooooooooo easily Offended, victimized and feel a Need to host personal PITY Parties is RIDICULOUS. Too many are Hell bent in Filing lawsuits because You Look at them the Wrong Way' let alone Tell Them N-O! and yet THEY are the First Idiots to Cling to Social Media in the Name of Free Speech. The videographer needs to be Named a Secondary Accomplice in the Rape Situation and tried accordingly. "What has become of Our Society is Beyond Pathetic and Where in the Hell is Justice and Accountability?".

Who hasn't been raped in Steubenville before?

More than anything, this young student of ours needs help. He is exceedingly impressionable, which will actually serve him well if he sees that glimmer for the need to grow, change and evolve. I would recommend reading the New York Times articles (NYT.com, search Steubenville). I was really quite struck by the grotesque misogyny and backward thinking expressed by young, old, and in-between Steubenvillers.
