BREAKING NEWS
The Lantern seeks OSU's best and brightest
Buckeyes in Columbus and around the world read The
Lantern every day.
Imagine seeing your name beneath that masthead. Are you up to
the challenge?
Make history. Be the media.
The media is changing at warp speed, and so are we.
The Lantern is looking for talent from all across
campus to fill newsroom positions: reporters, editors,
graphic designers, Internet journalists, and
photographers. Fire in the belly and a nose for news are
the only prerequisites.
Credit. Clips. Career.
Every career demands communication and writing skills.
Published writing impresses any employer. Demonstrate
your way with words, ability to meet deadlines, work on a
team, and think on your feet.
Learn writing in an adrenaline rush.
Let's talk.
Accepted students can work as freelancers for COMM 423 and
earn course credits working side by side with experienced
Lantern majors. The course includes on-the-job
training, guest speakers, and workshops tailored to
students at various skill levels.
