Attorney has prosecuted, defended clients at Ohio State

Fungal disease victims sue Ohio State

Two Ohio State employees sued the university Thursday, claiming they contracted a serious lung disease last year while working at Hitchcock Hall. Olga Stavridis and Amy Franklin, who work at the Ohio State College of Engineering Career Services, became ill with a lung infection called histoplasmosis. Full story

Student's team still standing on 'America's Best Dance Crew'

An Ohio State student and her team are still jumping over competition on the stage of MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew.” Lisa Brown, a third-year in middle childhood education, is a member of Saltare, a jump-roping group that has competed for the title of “America’s Best Dance Crew” since the show’s east regional competition in early February. Expo to feature pets

Pets and pet lovers from all over the state will be taking over Franklin County Veterans Memorial at the 16th Annual Columbus Pet Expo. This year’s event will be in all three of the venue’s halls and will cover more than 100,000 square feet. Full story

Pop-rock band celebrates St. Patty's Day

Pop-rock band Dot Dot Dot will bring its energetic stage show to Flannagan’s Dublin on March 17 to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. A mix between pop-rock and dance music, a performance by Dot Dot Dot includes a set list of original music and cover songs from bands like The Rolling Stones and Metallica. Full story

Irish days in Dublin

A person does not need to cross the Atlantic to experience St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin. In fact, they barely have to leave Columbus. Dublin, Ohio, is hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration March 13. The event is part of the city’s commitment to Irish tradition and has been held for about 80 years. Full story
