Gee talks about semesters

Currently a faculty committee is researching and managing the proposal for semesters. Gee said semesters will go into effect in 2012.

"This is the best interest of the university and students," he said. A semester system will benefit the university financially, he said, and will put graduating students searching for jobs on equal footing with students from other universities…

Semesters to bring host of problems

The plan to switch Ohio State from quarters to semesters is "inevitable," said Josh Rackers, Undergraduate Student Government representative on a committee set up to evaluate the change that is expected to take effect by autumn 2012.

Shakespeare to collaborate with Theatre Department

Sororities showcase chapters

On Wednesday, Nov. 12, the Panhellenic Association hosted the first Chapter Showcase Night. The event took place at Independence Hall from 7 to 9 p.m.

Omega Tau Zeta holds ovarian cancer banquet

On Friday, Nov. 14, the women of Omega Tau Zeta held their eighth annual charity banquet for ovarian cancer, Petal by Petal. The banquet was held at Hale Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. The evening started with a presentation about the sorority by Valerie Tiu, a fourth-year in biology and president of Omega Tau Zeta.
