About 100 people crammed into The Basement for one of the most intimate Shout Out Louds shows they'd ever seen. When standing room was no longer available in front, people spilled out along the sides of the stage, waiting and waiting.

Former conductor honored

Former Ohio State concert band conductor Donald McGinnis once again led the OSU Wind Symphony he loved during a celebration of his 90th birthday.

In a packed Weigel Auditorium Sunday, the OSU School of Music and guests from across the country honored McGinnis with a concert to commemorate his 40 years on the staff.

The United Nations Bureau Chief of The New York Times, Warren Hoge will speak to Ohio State and the Columbus community. Hoge, who started reporting in the Washington area in 1964, first began working for The New York Times in 1967 as a metropolitan journalist.
