Litter leads to trash talks

On a typical Sunday morning, the streets surrounding Ohio State are littered with beer cans, pizza boxes and the remnants of a weekend of partying. The litter is left to linger throughout the university district.

The University District Code Enforcement Task Force held a joint meeting with the Campus Partners Public Service Committee Tuesday and addressed the issue.

A hospital's children's wing, a senior center and a clown with a bright-red nose, purple wig and florescent colored outfit do not seem as though they have anything in common. They are, however, the sights of an event organized by Clowning in Columbus.

CNC is a group of Ohio State medical students who are bringing smiles and silliness to children in hospitals and the elderly in senior centers.
