The Clintons love Buckeyes
Chelsea Clinton, in her bid for another term as first daughter, pledged Hillary Clinton would double the maximum Pell Grant allowance, create a contract between students and universities that would freeze tuition from freshman year to degree completion, eliminate the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and reinstitute direct student lending from the government.

"My mom will reform the state tax codes to pay for changes to higher education," Chelsea said before delving into a more-specific response. She repeatedly pointed out that her mother is the only candidate offering ways to pay for proposed reforms.

Rose prices rise as Valentine's nears

Short winter days, increased demand for staff and inclement weather are all factors that result in higher-priced Valentine's Day roses, according to the Society of American Florists.

Students can expect to pay anywhere from $24 to more than $50 for a dozen Valentine's Day roses at campus-area florists.

Theatre to change hands

Theatre to change hands
Management of the South Campus Gateway Theatre will change hands at the beginning of March. The theatre, which is owned by Campus Partners, will be managed by Landmark Theatres.

Landmark Theatres is an expanding movie business co-owned by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.
