WASHINGTON (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton won the Ohio Democratic primary, CNN and NBC projected at about 10:55 p.m. Tuesday.

Hometown registration keeps students from voting at Columbus polls

As he sat in his economics class Tuesday morning, senior David Motta was concerned about supply and demand, not voting in Tuesday's primary.

"I haven't looked at who I want to vote for yet," Motta said.

Motta, similar to many Ohio State students, is registered to vote in his hometown and would have had to vote by absentee ballot for the primary.

Born in the Ivory Coast and raised from the age of six in New York, New Jersey and Cleveland, the junior in chemical engineering considers himself away from home at OSU.

Council funds health center

The Columbus City Council authorized the expenditure of $6,139,200 from bond funds to construct the Westside Family Health Center. With passage of the ordinance Monday, the finance and management director will enter into a contract with Gutknecht Construction Co. to build the facility on West Broad Street.

"This is an example of the city of Columbus investing into the well-being of its citizens," Councilman Kevin Boyce said.

CEO of Bob Evans Farms Inc., Steven A. Davis, will speak at Ohio State's winter commencement. Davis has been with Bob Evans since 2006 and before that he worked with Long John Silver's, Pizza Hut and Kraft General Foods. Winter commencement will take place March 16 at 2 p.m. at the Jerome Schottenstein Center. For information on the ceremony visit osu.edu/commence.
