New policy not so green, says student group
Ohio State announced its new recycling policy and its goal to become an environmentally friendly campus last week. Although many might applaud the effort, there are some who say the new policy is not enough.

Free the Planet, an environmental justice student group that originally worked in the Environmental Task Force with OSU administration, finds the policy incomplete.

USG hopefuls vie for votes

Alex Liber said he will spend his time as a promoter and prosecutor during this year's elections in order to maintain a neutral stance.

"My role is to make sure that everyone plays by the rules and that no one has an unfair advantage," said Liber, director of the Election Governance Board.

Acacia gives back

Acacia gives back
While many Ohio State students spend their Sunday afternoons sleeping in or recovering from the long night before, members of the Acacia Fraternity devote them to service.

Every other Sunday, members of Acacia can be found at the Ronald McDonald House across from Nationwide Children's Hospital cleaning, arranging donated items and conducting maintenance work.

This week in Ohio State history

Thirteen drug arrests were made in the Tower dormitories during the last two weeks of Winter Quarter, 11 on one day.

The arrests were the result of an intensive investigation by campus police, according to Donald Hanna, campus director of public safety.
