Students on campus are mastering Parkour, an art of self-awareness and body control

Sometimes, the thrill of the chase is nothing compared to the experience gained at the end of a long journey.

Parkour, the refinement of one's body movements from one point to another, is a training discipline focused on overcoming obstacles. While it is commonly miscategorized as a sport, the activity more closely resembles yoga or martial arts as a means of training to better oneself.

CD101 Day Rocks C-bus

Every year local radio station CD101 puts on a festival of epic proportions, and this year was no different.

The annual CD101 Day took place Saturday night at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion, hosting five bands and a roaring crowd of fans.

Wexner program draws rising star musicians

Art-rockers Man Man will storm through the Wexner Center for the Arts on April 25th, thanks to the Next@Wex program.

"While many people go to the shows, not many of them know what the program itself is all about," said Erik Pepple, media relations coordinator for the Wexner Center.

New Pornographers at the Newport

New Pornographers frontman Carl Newman gives a passionate wailing of his singing voice in the middle of their set Saturday night at The Newport. Opening for the Canadian indie rockers was Okkervil River, which nearly stole the show with its brand of blues-alternative. Newman called Okkervil River one of his "favorite bands in the world."
