Clintons scheming for 2012 bid

It is not hard to see what the Clinton family is trying to do within the Democratic Party. By staying in the race for the White House, the Clintons are attempting to drag the Democratic nomination process on until the convention this summer. They know that this will damage the party to a point where it will not be able to recover in time to win the general election in November. That way, Hillary Clinton will be granted clear favorite status to challenge Republican John McCain in his quest for a second presidential term in 2012. Unfortunately for the Clintons, the media and Democratic insiders realize what they are doing, and they will not look too kindly on the Clintons since they are intentionally trying to give the White House to McCain.

I am tired of listening to other Democrats who say Clinton has a chance to win the Democratic nomination. A delegate calculator on CNN's Web site proves the relative impossibility of the Clinton campaign's quest. It shows that even if she won all of the remaining primaries with a 60-40 margin while clinching 60 percent of the remaining Democratic superdelegates, she still would not win the nomination. Real life is proving to be even more unfortunate for her campaign, as she is likely to lose at least five of the nine remaining primaries. Her victory in Pennsylvania was too little and too late to save her campaign. The Clintons are now looking to the future.

It is truly sad to see a once very influential political family die because of their own actions. The Clinton campaign tried every dirty trick in the book to destroy Barack Obama. They engaged in numerous personal attacks, attempted to undermine the wishes of the Democratic electorate and several elected Democratic officials, and engaged in a Jim Crow-style race-baiting campaign. Now that they cannot stop him from winning the Democratic nomination, they will settle for keeping him out of the White House even though it will further weaken a nation and destroy a political party.

In case you have not figured it out by now, it is my firm belief that the Clintons need to get over themselves and drop out of this race so the Democratic Party can stand a chance of winning the White House in November. A victory for the Republicans would allow them to spend ungodly amounts of (China's) money in Iraq and to veto more steps toward universal healthcare. This will all happen while the United States' standing in the world will suffer for at least another four years.

To all the Clinton supporters out there: I salute you for your support of a Democratic candidate. You undoubtedly supported Clinton because you all truly believed she would have made a better president than anyone else in the race. I am sure that none of you supported the attacks that her campaign has taken part in. Nevertheless, it is time for you all to talk some sense into your candidate for the good of your party.

I don't buy this. I think Hillary is fairly (and correctly) confident that the Democratic nominee is going to win in November. Although she is unlikely to win, she also understands that if she doesn't win the nomination, she will probably never be president. (Continued…)

I think it's great that the Dems are gonna drag this out until Summer! Leave it to Billary to put a monkey wrench in the whole nomination process. It's funny who everyone screamed about disenfrachised voters in Florida back in 2000. (Continued…)

Obama is an unpatriotic, far left liberal loser. This Reagan Democrat wants his vote back. Many people gave their vote to Obama before the Rev. Wright scandal became public. (Continued…)

I can't believe you seriously believe this, but I've heard so many other "conspiracy" theories from people. Clinton has wanted to win in 2008 - she had one of the best chances from the beginning -- who could have foreseen Obama's surge?? Why would she have a better chance in 2012?? There will be other people who will appear, and then she will be four years older. (Continued…)

One can only hope Hillary brings it to convention and destroys the party. Maybe the racist democrats will riot like in 68 and burn Denver to the ground

This is not the time to pride yourself as the next President of the U.S. There's gonna be a lot of work! I feel bad for the next President of the U. (Continued…)

Do you have any evidence for this claim? I am going to argue that Obama hates white people, that is why he still is. See how easy it is to make a baseless claim?

Thanks
