Todd, Karow have numbers retired
Over the weekend the Buckeyes honored two of their greatest coaches - Bob Todd and Marty Karow.

Todd has been at Ohio State for a long time. He started coaching the baseball team in 1988 - two years before the current class of OSU freshmen were born.

Buckeye athletes take talent to stage

With spring athletics quickly coming to a close, Ohio State student athletes will have one last shot at a title.

But they will not be on the field, in the pool or at the gym. Instead, these varsity studs will take to the stage, dancing and singing to be the "most talented team" at OSU.

Alumni ticket overhaul

Alumni ticket overhaul
The Ohio State Alumni Association has made substantial changes to its football ticket application process for the 2008 season and beyond.

A random lottery will be held for paying members of the association to determine who will be selected to receive tickets and for which games. Included in this random lottery are tickets for the OSU-Michigan game.

Third time not a charm as Bucks lose to Wildcats
EVANSTON, Ill. - For the Ohio State softball team (33-23, 7-13 Big Ten), facing No. 12 Northwestern (35-13, 18-2) and pitcher Lauren Delaney for the third time would not be the charm. In the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament, the Wildcats disposed of the Buckeyes 8-0 in five innings to advance and eventually win their second Big Ten Tournament title in program history.

"He's too old!" "He's lazy!" "Trade him now!"

Every time I go home to Cincinnati I hear the same things. It comes from the newspaper writers, talk-radio hosts, even my younger brother.
