New golf coach looks to start his own legacy at OSU

It had been 36 years since the Ohio State men’s golf team introduced a new head coach. With the retirement of legendary coach Jim Brown, however, the program has ushered in its new leader, Donnie Darr. Darr, an Ohio native and all-conference golfer during his college career at Kent State, spent time coaching Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Akron and his alma mater prior to coming to Columbus. Full story

15 inducted into hall of fame

Ten men and five women were inducted into the Ohio State Sports Hall of Fame in ceremonies held on Friday. Plaques were presented to the inductees during halftime of the OSU-Pittsburgh game Saturday afternoon. Archie Griiffin, two-time Heisman winner and 1981 Hall of Fame inductee, said "it is great to be able to go back and recognize some of the great athletes from earlier classes. Full story
