Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor underwent surgery on his right knee earlier this week, team spokeswoman Shelly Poe told The Lantern.

Pryor played the second half of the season with a partial tear of his posterior cruciate ligament. He originally suggested that the injury occurred in his left knee, but the surgery was conducted on his right knee.

"He had a routine arthroscopic procedure performed on his right knee," Poe said. "Good news is everything checked out fine and he should make a quick recovery."

Pryor is expected to return to health in time for spring practices, which begin April 1.

The sophomore threw for a career-high 266 yards in leading the Buckeyes to a 26-17 Rose Bowl victory over Oregon.
