Construction noise disrupted finals

I am irate! I just got done taking a final examination here in the heart of Columbus on the campus of the Ohio State University. This is a fine institution, which, whether we accept it or not, is the main attraction to Columbus. It is a beautiful campus with plenty of room to grow, but it’s time to stop the construction! How am I supposed to concentrate on an exam when I hear jackhammers and cranes working on the building next to mine? I understand that the university needs to work to keep buildings up to standard and that the campus is growing to enormous levels in terms of size, with continued expansion necessary. During exam week though, the construction needs to be reduced, if not totally cut out. Students should get the respect that they deserve at the university and given a fair chance to take their exams… in silence.
