A month of celebration and special events will surround an Ohio State radio station’s diamond anniversary.’75 years is a long time,’ said WOSU, News 820 AM spokesperson Cheryl Krebs, ‘but we’re already planning on 100.’Although the anniversary falls on April 24, the station plans to start early with events including a performance by the Capitol Steps, a satire troupe formed by former Congressional staff members on April 3 and a free panel appearance of National Public Radio personalities Bob Edwards, Scott Simon, Brian Naylor and Del Lewis at the Journalism School on April 4.’We are a part of the university and feel it’s important to try and get students involved,’ said Krebs.
