Columbus Division of Police7:30 a.m. – 1500 block of North 4th St.: Chevy Celebrity Eurosport was reported stolen, license plate DVR-5873.

8 a.m. – 100 block of East 14th Ave.: Victim reports stolen license plate.

10 a.m. – 100 block of East Norwich Ave.: Victim reported her car was broken into and her iPod stolen.

12 p.m. – 300 block of East 13th Ave.: Two suspects that were moving out took a bedroom set that belonged to the victim.

1:15 p.m. – 1200 block of Summit St.: Apartment was broken into while victim was at work. A total of 6 DVDs and a carton of orange juice was stolen.

2 p.m. – 200 block of East Maynard Ave.: Victim reported his aluminum ladder stolen from his garage.

4 p.m. – 300 block of East 11th Ave.: Victim stated she went to recover her cellular phone, and during the exchange got into an argument with the suspect and was hit in the face with a belt.

6 p.m. – 1500 block of North High St.: While eating at Wendy’s, victim’s car was towed from the Wendy’s lot.

6:25 p.m. – 100 block of Chittenden Ave.: Suspect was reportedly stealing the copper tubing from air conditioners on the side of the building.

Sept. 27

Columbus Division of Police12 a.m. – Double-digit block of West 8th Ave.: Victim reported car window pried open and stereo and CD stolen.

8:25 a.m. – Ohio State University Transportation North 4th St. and East Maynard: Victim reported two suspects throwing rocks at a passing bus leaving only scratches and dust marks.

4:30 p.m. – 3000 block of Indianola Ave.: Victim, 53, reported receiving threats from the suspect via instant messaging on his computer.

6:30 p.m. – Acceleration Foreign Automobile Repair 5193 N. High St.: Victim reported suspect(s) broke in through the front window and stole $50 in cash along with a retriever system worth $10,000. Suspect(s) also broke into a car trunk.

7:18 p.m. – United Dairy Farmers 327 N. High St.: Victim reported suspect pumped gas into her purple Chevy Impala (vanity plate “FREDSAM”) and left without paying.

9 p.m. – 200 block of East Patterson Ave.: Victim reported suspect(s) broke into garage and stole $1,155 worth property. Items reported stolen were skis and poles in a bag, bowling balls and shoes in a bag along with miscellaneous tools in a canvas bag.

10 p.m. – 2700 block of Indianola Ave.: Victim reported car was broken into and satellite radio, iPod and iPod attachment were stolen.

10:06 p.m. – 600 block of North High St.: Victim stated that she was sitting in public when a suspect on a bicycle grabbed her purse and fled. The Prada purse contained several valuable items including an iPod and a gold necklace valued at $400.

10:19 p.m. – 400 block of East 11th Ave.: Witness reported two males outside of his residence involved in a shouting match. Suspect number one was standing on his porch and yelled, “You bust, I’ll bust,” upon which he fired several shots toward the second suspect who was standing further away. Both suspects fled on foot in unknown directions.

10:30 p.m. – 1100 block of North High St.: Suspect punctured both passenger side tires on a 2005 Jeep Liberty.

11 p.m. – 1200 block of Summit St.: Victim reported an attempt was made to enter her house with a flathead screwdriver or similar object. The attempt failed and entry was not made.
