A female Ohio State student was beaten while delivering chicken wings to an East 17th Avenue home early Sunday morning.

According to reports, the woman parked her car in the middle of the street to deliver the food to two residents. As she was completing the delivery, a car pulled up behind hers and, unable to get around her car, a male passenger in the car began yelling at her. He then got out of the car and threw food onto the woman’s vehicle.

When the woman approached the man and pushed him away from her car, he reportedly knocked her to the ground and kicked her in the stomach. While the student was still on the ground, the man went back to the car he arrived in and told the driver to back up and drive away.

Police reports did not say whether the woman received medical treatment, and no one was arrested for the assault.
