Sophomore receiver Lamaar Thomas will transfer to another school, according to multiple sources.

The story was first reported by The Cleveland Plain Dealer, and confirmed by the Twitter accounts of several of Thomas’ teammates.

The shifty receiver nicknamed “Flash” played running back in high school, and struggled to make the transition to receiver at Ohio State. Thomas returned kicks for two years.

He expressed his desire to play running back and receiver at whichever school he transfers to.

Thomas also participated in the Buckeyes’ 4×100 relay in track and field.

Fellow receiver Taurian Washington, who, before the Rose Bowl, also suggested that he would entertain the thought of transferring, has not announced a decision.
