Weekly football predictions: Week 4

What a difference one play can make. All five particpants in the 2010 Weekly Football Picks challenge correctly predicted Ohio State to beat Ohio. Everyone also slipped up, incorrectly choosing Iowa over Arizona. The Wildcats upset the Hawkeyes, 34-27. The one game that made the difference in last week’s results, Michigan State-Notre Dame, came down to the last play in overtime. The Spartans faked a field goal and threw for a touchdown, knocking off the Fighting Irish, 34-31. Justin Zwick, now in first place with a stellar 8-2 mark, Dallas Lauderdale and Zack Meisel benefited from Sparty’s miracle. Quinn Pitcock and James Laurinaitis suffered, as both of them fell into a second-place tie with Lauderdale. Meisel continues to bring up the rear, and picked a pair of upsets this week to attempt to close the gap.
