After serving as a backup quarterback at Ohio State for four seasons, Kenny Guiton has found a new football home.

The 6-foot-3, 208-pound passer has been assigned to the LA KISS — named after the iconic rock group of the same title — of the Arena Football League, according to a press release Tuesday evening.

The start of an AFL career for Guiton comes after a short stint with the Buffalo Bills of the NFL, who invited Guiton to their rookie mini-camp in Buffalo in May before signing rookie wideout Caleb Holley of East Central University, leaving no room for Guiton on the roster.

At OSU, Guiton completed 89 of his 134 career pass attempts for 893 yards and 16 touchdowns. In his final season, Guiton was named a team captain and started in two games for the Buckeyes, leading OSU to a 52-34 win over California in his first ever start and compiling a school-record six touchdown passes against Florida A&M in his second start.

Guiton graduated from OSU in December 2013 with a degree in family resource management and family studies.

Following the 2014 Orange Bowl, his final game in an OSU uniform, Guiton played in the NFL Players Association Collegiate Bowl, a showcase for college seniors looking to enter the NFL ranks, but threw just four passes in the contest, completing only one of those throws for nine yards.

There has been no announcement as to when Guiton is set to don an LA KISS uniform, as the team is currently in the middle of the 2014 AFL season with its next game set for June 9 against the San Jose Sabercats.

The KISS currently stand at 2-8 on the season and are riding a seven-game losing streak following a 2-1 start.
