Ohio State men’s basketball coach Thad Matta announced the Buckeyes’ 2014-15 Big Ten Schedule in a Thursday evening press release.

A new-look OSU roster — now without Aaron Craft, Lenzelle Smith Jr., LaQuinton Ross and Amedeo Della Valle — will open its conference schedule against the Iowa Hawkeyes Dec. 30 at the Schottenstein Center.

“The roster this year is one I’m anxious to see blend together over the course of the season,” Matta said in the release. “We have leadership and experience in a senior class that has continued to improve over the years and a freshman class that has proven itself at the high school level.

“I believe our fans will enjoy watching this team compete.”

The Buckeyes — fresh off two wins in the Bahamas during an exhibition tour — are set to open its regular season against the University of Massachusetts-Lowell Nov. 14 in Columbus.

The team’s 2014-15 Big Ten schedule includes nine games in Columbus and nine games on the road.
