Erick Kand is set to perform at the Ohio Union Oct. 20, in an event organized by OUAB.

Comedy hypnotist Erick Känd is set to perform at Ohio State on Oct. 20 for a free event organized by the Ohio Union Activities Board.

Känd tours the country and regularly performs interactive shows at colleges, according to his website. His shows typically involve hypnotizing volunteers from the audience.

The show is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the US Bank Conference Theater at the Ohio Union, and was announced Tuesday night.

There are no tickets for the event.

OUAB is a student organization that plans events using the university’s $37.50 student activity fee. More than 50 percent of the estimated $4 million in student activity fee revenue is allocated to OUAB.
