Welcome to the first edition of The Fantasy Doctors, a brand-new fantasy football podcast, created by two friends who absolutely love to talk about sports, especially fantasy football.
Chad Cohen and I, Dylan Klaus, have been talking about sports our entire lives. As a result, this summer we came up with the idea of a fantasy football podcast. We already talk sports all day long, so why not take it a step further and have some fun with it?
Let the fun begin.
Our show is built around two major components: jackpot/roulette and matchups.
- Jackpot/roulette is essentially our reactions to players’ performances from the prior week and whether we believe that performance was a true testament to their skill or just dumb luck. If we believe their talent is true, they’re a jackpot. If we think it was a fluke performance, they fall under roulette.
- As for the matchup segment, we will be highlighting games that could potentially have major fantasy implications for the week. We’ll try to pick a popular game with multiple fantasy players as well as a game that might not stand out on the schedule but still has a high volume of fantasy impact.
