Donald Trump Jr., son of the Republican presidential candidate, has cancelled his visit to Ohio State this Saturday, according to a text message from a campaign official sent to a student with knowledge of the visit.

The cancellation comes within 24 hours of the announcement of the visit.

Trump Jr. was set to visit several tailgates throughout campus with Tomi Lahren, host of “Tomi” on TheBlaze, prior to the OSU football game against Indiana.

A spokesman for Trump’s campaign in Ohio did not immediately return a request for comment.

The cancellation follows a leak of comments the GOP candidate made in 2005 about groping women, published Friday night by The Washington Post.
