Football: Former Ohio State wide receiver Terry Glenn dies in car accident

Former Ohio State and NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn was killed in a car accident Monday morning, according to CBS Dallas-Fort Worth. He was 43 years old.

The accident was reportedly a single-car wreck on Highway 114 in Irving, Texas. ESPN’s Adam Schefter said Glenn was pronounced dead by the Parkland Memorial Hospital at 12:52 a.m.

Glenn originally joined the Buckeyes as a walk-on. He did not play his true freshman season of 1992, but played in every season from 1993-95. He was drafted seventh overall by the New England Patriots in the 1996 draft. He spent 12 seasons in the NFL with six seasons spent on the Patriots, a season with the Green Bay Packers and five with the Dallas Cowboys before retiring in 2007.

  1. Saw the awful news on 6 on Your Side. I remember when he played at OSU, I was in college then. I hope the Buckeyes remember and honor him at the Michigan game this week. RIP TERRY GLENN GO BUCKS!
