Ohio State freshman forward Kaleb Wesson is suspended and will not play in Thursday night’s matchup against Texas Southern, head coach Chris Holtmann announced less than an hour before tipoff.

“Ohio State freshman Kaleb Wesson has been suspended for the game vs. Texas Southern tonight for a failure to meet the expectations of the men’s basketball program,” Holtmann said in a statement. “This is specifically regarding time management and will be a one-game suspension.”

Wesson scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds against Robert Morris in the season opener. In the Buckeyes’ second game of the season, he played 16 minutes and scored nine points and secured two rebounds Sunday against Radford.
