Umphreys McGee, 7 p.m. at Express Live, 405 Neil Ave. The rock band from Notre Dame, Indiana, will perform with The Marcus King Band. Tickets are $29.50 plus fees via Ticketmaster.

Kuinka, 7 p.m. at The Basement, 391 Neil Ave. The folk pop band from Seattle will perform with The Castros. Tickets are $8 in advance via Ticketmaster and $10 at the door.

Friday, Feb. 2

In This Moment, 5:30 p.m. at Express Live, 405 Neil Ave. The California metal band will perform with P.O.D., New Years Day and Ded. Tickets are $32 plus fees via Ticketmaster.

A Conversation with Chelsea Handler, 7 p.m. at The Columbus Athenaeum, 32 N. 4th St. The town-hall inspired event will cover a range of political topics with moderator Chelsea Handler, the comedian and talk show host. Handler will be joined by political science professors Herb Asher and Randall Schweller. Tickets are free and available at the Ohio Union with a BuckID.  

Saturday, Feb. 3

Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, 9 a.m. at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams (North Market), 59 Spruce St. The ice cream shop will open three hours early to celebrate Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, and profits will support nonprofit She Should Run between 9 a.m. and noon.

“Mean Girls,” 10 p.m. at Grandview Theater & Drafthouse, 1247 Grandview Ave. Guests will enjoy a screening of “Mean Girls,” as well as themed cocktails and beer specials throughout the night. Tickets are $8 plus fees via www.brownpapertickets.com.

Sunday, Feb. 4

Winter Flea, 12 p.m. at Strongwater Food & Spirits, 400 W. Rich St. Sip on warm winter beverages and shop for a selection of goods, including original artwork, handmade jewelry, books and more. Admission is free.   

Dance Karaoke, 7 p.m. at Wild Goose Creative, 2491 Summit St. Take a karaoke class and learn some dance moves with Flux+Flow Dance and Movement Center. Admission is a $10 to $15 suggested donation.
