Campus area crime map March 19 – 25

The rape of a female was reported to the Columbus Division of Police as having occurred at 3:30 a.m. Friday in the 43rd police cruiser district. The 43rd district runs east to west from the Olentangy River to North Star Road, and north to south from West Lane Avenue to West Third Avenue. (Crime not depicted on map.)

A man not affiliated with Ohio State was arrested by University Police for public indecency at 6 a.m. March 19 at Doan Hall.

A theft was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Verizon store located on North High Street near West 10th Avenue. According to the online police log, a suspect entered the store and stole $5,000 worth of new iPhones.

A burglary was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred between 12 and 12:30 a.m. Sunday at a Chittenden Avenue residence near North Pearl Street. According to the online log, a resident told police that an unknown suspect or suspects entered through an unlocked rear window and stole $1,800 worth of property.
