Former Ohio State tight end Marcus Baugh was signed by the Oakland Raiders following the 2018 NFL draft, according to a tweet from Ohio State.

Baugh played in 52 games throughout his four-year career at Ohio State and finished with 55 receptions for 607 yards and eight touchdowns.

In his senior season, Baugh collected 28 passes, including the game-winning 16-yard touchdown against Penn State with 1:48 remaining in the 39-38 Ohio State victory.

Baugh was an honorable mention All-Big Ten member in both 2016 and 2017. His 55 receptions ranks him ninth all-time in catches by a tight end, and the eight touchdowns places him seventh.

In the NFL combine, Baugh placed tied for fifth among tight ends in the vertical jump (33.0 inches and seventh in the broad jump (117.0 inches).

Baugh finished with a 4.81 second 40-yard dash, tied for the third slowest time among tight ends. He also finished with the third-slowest 20-yard shuttle (4.51 seconds) for a tight end.

The Raiders start the 2018 season on Sept. 10 against the Los Angeles Rams.
