One day after landing four-star safety Lejond Cavazos, Ohio State continued to build its 2020 recruiting class Thursday as five-star offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. committed to the Buckeyes.

As the No. 2 offensive tackle recruit in the nation, Johnson is ranked as the No. 8 player in the country as well as the top recruit from the state of Ohio according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Along with Ohio State, the Cincinnati native had offers from other schools, such as Alabama, Oklahoma and Michigan.

Johnson joins four-star offensive tackle Jake Wray in the 2020 class, whose brother, Max Wray, is a four-star offensive tackle in the 2018 class.
