A final decision on the fate of Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer may be coming this week.

The Ohio State Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday at 9 a.m. to discuss the Meyer investigation, according to a statement released by the university Monday.

The investigation into Meyer began on Aug. 5 by an independent group of investigators and was scheduled to be completed after 14 days, which was Sunday. There is still no timetable for when a final decision will be made.

Meyer was put on paid administrative leave on Aug.1 after there were reports that he may have known about domestic violence allegations against former assistant Zach Smith from 2009 and 2015 against his ex-wife, Courtney Smith.
