After starting the season with a four-game win streak, No. 23 Ohio State stays at home in hopes of extending its hot start.

Ohio State has two road wins against Creighton and Cincinnati, as well as two home victories of 28 points or more.

To extend the streak, the Buckeyes will take on Samford, who has also begun its season undefeated.

After finishing the 2017t season with a 10-22 record, Samford has turned a corner in the early games on its schedule.

The Bulldogs are 5-0 to begin their 2018-19 campaign, but are the worst 5-0 team in the country according to advance statistics website KenPom.com, coming in as the No. 268 team in the NCAA.

Samford does not have a win against a team ranked higher than No. 188, defeating Jacksonville State 92-72.

Redshirt senior center Rueben Guerrero leads the team with 17 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. The 7-foot center from Marbella, Spain is playing his first season for Samford after transferring from South Florida two seasons ago.

The Bulldogs have succeeded due to high shooting numbers, shooting 50.2 percent from the field and 40.6 percent from 3 so far this season.

Defensively, Samford is holding opponents to a 35.3 percent shooting percentage.

Ohio State is 18-1 all-time against the Southern Conference, and undefeated in two games against the Bulldogs.

No. 23 Ohio State takes on Samford at the Schottenstein Center at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
