Ohio State sophomore forward and leading scorer Kaleb Wesson will return from his suspension on Thursday when the Buckeyes play in the Big Ten tournament, head coach Chris Holtmann announced Monday.

Wesson had been suspended for the past three games for a violation of Ohio State athletic department rules.

In his absence, the Buckeyes have struggled, losing its past three games against Purdue, Northwestern and Wisconsin respectively by an average of 19.7 points, including a 35-point loss to the Boilermakers on March 2.

Wesson leads the team with 14.6 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game, shooting 51.1 percent from the field.

Ohio State will open the Big Ten tournament against Indiana on Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
