Five-star wide receiver recruit Julian Fleming announced his commitment to Ohio State Friday Morning in a video on Twitter.

The Catawissa, Pa. native is ranked the No. 1 wide receiver and No. 6 overall recruit in the 2020 class by 247Sports.

Fleming becomes just the fourth five-star wide receiver to join Ohio State since 2000, joining Ted Ginn, Jalin Marshall, and 2019 commit Garrett Wilson.

Fleming’s commitment vaulted Ohio State’s 2020 recruiting class from No. 11 to No. 9 in the nation.

Ohio State now has two five star commits for 2020, as Fleming joins offensive lineman Paris Johnson. Fleming marks Ohio State’s ninth hard commit for the class.

Fleming was considering Alabama, Clemson and his hometown Penn State along with others, but his commitment to Ohio State saw the Buckeyes overtake the Nittany Lions for the No. 1 recruiting class in the Big Ten for 2020.
