Ohio State now has four commitments for the class of 2021, a year and a half before any of them can officially sign with the team.

Four-star offensive tackle Ben Christman took to twitter Wednesday to announce his commitment to the Buckeyes.

Christman is rated the No. 9 offensive tackle in the country for 2021 and No. 44 overall, according to 247sports. He’s ranked No. 2 overall in the state of Ohio, and is Ohio State’s first offensive line commit in the class of 2021.

Christman also held offers from Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame and Florida.

The commitment comes on the heels of Ohio State’s Buckeye Bash and Barbecue Friday, where it hosted multiple four- and five-star prospects from the classes of 2020 and 2021.
