Ohio State football added another piece to its top 5 2020 class when four-star quarterback C.J. Stroud signed with the team Wednesday.

Stroud, the No. 83 overall player in the country and No. 10 player in California, threw for 3,878 yards and 47 touchdowns in 13 games with Rancho Cucamonga High School in 2019.

The nation’s No. 2 pro-style quarterback prospect joins Jack Miller as the Buckeyes’ second quarterback commit who signed Wednesday. Miller is the No. 294 player and No. 14 pro-style quarterback in the country.

Stroud joins sophomore Justin Fields and redshirt junior Gunnar Hoak, alongside Miller, in Ohio State’s quarterback room for the 2020 season.

Ohio State’s recruiting class ranks No. 4 overall with 26 commitments. Twenty-four have signed their letters of intent Wednesday during National Signing Day’s early signing period.
