A burglary was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred between 8 a.m. Jan. 12 and 2:15 p.m. Jan. 13 on West Ninth Avenue near North High Street. According to the online police log, an unknown suspect or suspects entered the home and stole $1,050 of property, including video game controllers and dishes.

A theft was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred at 6:23 p.m. Jan. 14 on East Frambes Avenue near North Pearl Street. According to the online police log, the victim was paying her parking meter when the suspect took her wallet out of her hand and ran off.

An assault was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred at 10:45 p.m. Thursday on the intersection of East Lane Avenue and Summit Street. According to the online police log, an unknown suspect or suspects struck the victim in the back of the head with an unknown object.

Three incidents occurred in which three people had their vehicles broken into and their airbags stolen. Each of them occurred between Thursday evening and Friday morning.

The first victim, whose car was parked on East Norwich Avenue near North High Street, stated that her driver’s side window was busted and the horn and airbag were stolen from the steering wheel.

The second victim, whose car was parked on Summit Street near East Maynard Avenue, also said her driver’s side window was busted and the airbag was stolen from the steering wheel.

The third victim, whose car was parked on Summit Street near East Tompkins Street, had her driver’s side door pried open and her airbag stolen from her steering wheel.
