The national headquarters of Phi Kappa Psi wants Ohio State students to know that it doesn’t have an active chapter on campus and that any students who say they are members of the fraternity will face legal action if they continue to do so.
Between 2017 and now, 37 fraternities have been IFC members. Of those 37 fraternities, 21 have been charged with violating the Code of Student Conduct and 11 have lost their status as student organizations, and therefore their status as members of the IFC. The IFC currently has 26 member fraternities.
Since Pi Kappa Alpha’s student organization status revocation by Ohio State Jan. 27, eight more Ohio State fraternities have been placed under investigation or disciplinary probation for violation of the Code of Student Conduct.
