No one will ever need to go outside to play basketball again – as long as they have an XBox and the new basketball game “NBA Inside Drive.”

With realistic game play and all of the NBA’s stars, “Inside Drive” is finally the basketball game all video gamers have been waiting for.

The controls to the game are so easy an untrained monkey could become competition. One can have a successful game using only three of the more than 10 buttons on the controller. There is artificial intelligence installed in the game, so the game doesn’t become lopsided.

After learning how to play the game, it’s time to watch Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant, Darius Miles and even “His Airness,” Michael Jordan, tear down the rim.

Since the game lacks the cartooniness of the most recent basketball video game hit “NBA Jam,” some gamers may be disappointed in not seeing players perform an infinite number of flips before the slam, or hearing the infamous “You are on fire.”

Instead, “Inside Drive” attempts to appeal to the gamers who desire reality. The gamers that don’t want to punch someone to grab a steal will prefer the skill it takes to play defense with the possibility of being called for a foul.

The only aspect which is unrealistic is that Shaquille O’Neal can have his shot blocked – if that is not enough, Shaq can have his shot blocked by Jason Kidd.

Overall, “Inside Drive” is arguably the best basketball game ever made for an arcade game, let alone for a game system.
